Overview of the Department
The PG Department of Business Administration was started in the year 2004 with an aim to groom young women into managers and entrepreneurs. The department conducts a two-year full time MBA programme affiliated to Krishna University and approved by All india Council for Technical Education. The department has state of the art infrastructure with well furnished seminar halls, computer labs. All the faculty are doctorates with expertise in the field of Marketing, Human Resource Management and Finance. The programme offers Dual Specialization and Generic Elective courses with Choice Based Credit System. The courses are well designed meeting the requirements of the industry. The students are trained to be campus ready through a 45 hour softskills development programme by experts. As part of institution industry interface the department organizes guest lectures and industrial visits. The students organise an annual management fest ‘Samanvay’, it’s a platform to explore their skills, they actively involve in raising funds and organising various events. The students actively participate in placement drives and the alumna is placed in reputed corporate organisations in lower and middle management levels. Some of the alumna are entrepreneurs in diversified fields.
