Scholarships

1. YSML Memorial Scholarship

No. of scholarships: 6.

Type: Merit-based only.

Six YSML Memorial Scholarships shall be awarded annually to second year Undergraduate students at the end of Semester III, taking an average of the marks of Semesters I, II & III to arrive at the student with the highest marks in each of the following subjects in the programmes specified below:

Highest mark in Mathematics in B.Sc.: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry programme.
Highest mark in Physics in B.Sc.: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science programme.
Highest mark in Chemistry in B.Sc.: Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science Programme.

2. Fr. Jeeva Kumar’s Scholarship

Fr.Jeeva Kumar’s Scholarship is granted to first, second and third year Degree deserving Catholic Students

3. Sri Gokaraju Gangaraju’s Scholarship

Sri Gokaraju Gangaraju’s Scholarship is instituted by Dr.Gokaraju Gangaraju for the most deserving student in the Degree First year.

4. Ms. Laila’s Scholarship

Ms. Laila’s Scholarship is instituted by Ms. Laila for the most deserving student in the Degree Second year.

5. Sri. T.V.Krishna Rao’s Scholarship

6. Dr. Y. Vijayakumari’s Scholarship

Dr.Y.Vijayakumari’s Scholarship is instituted by Dr. Indira Kumari, Retd. Head, Dept. of Economics for the most deserving student in first year Economics.

7.Dr. P. N. Parvathi’s Scholarship

Dr. P. N. Parvathi’s Scholarship is instituted by Dr. P.N. Parvathi Retd. Head, Dept. of Telugu for the most deserving student in the Degree with Telugu Second Language.

8.Mr.Gopala Krishna’s Scholarship

Late Mr.Gopala Krishna’s Scholarship is instituted by Mrs. K. Kamala, Retd., Physical Director, Department of Physical Education for a Sports student who wins at State, National and International Levels. To be qualified for this scholarship, student should have won at least one of the above levels in the first year of Degree. The scholarship amount will be awarded in the beginning of the III Semester.

9.Mr.V.Kanaka Mohan Rao’s Scholarship

Late Mr.V. Kanaka Mohan Rao’s Scholarship is instituted by his wife Mrs. Giribala, Retd. Dept. of Physics for the student who scores highest in I & II Semester in Physics. The scholarship amount will be awarded in the beginning of the III Semester.

10.Dr. Girija Nambiar’s Scholarship

Dr. Girija Nambiar’s Scholarship is instituted by Dr. Girija Nambiar, Retd. Head, Dept. of English and Dean, Planning and Communication for the most deserving student in any Degree group.

11.Mrs. Surya Kumari’s Scholarship

Mrs. Surya Kumari’s Scholarship is instituted by Mrs. Surya Kumari, Retd. Faculty, Dept. of Physics for the most deserving student with Physics in the First Degree Class.

12.Ms.Emiliana Quadras & Mr.Leo Quadras Scholarship

Chava Seetamma’s scholarship is instituted by her great granddaughter Dr.Sajja Pushpasree (Alumna) for the deserving students.
